Description :

Number 4 on the topo.
Start round the arete on the right. Move up about 2m until you can get a big hold on the arete to pull yourself round onto the face. Traverse far left to the crack which is followed to the roof. Finish by squeezing up the hole in the roof.

A really excellent route for the grade, and my current favourite Southern Sandstone route.

This climb used to be Two Toed Sloth. There was a tree growing out from the ledge below the hole. When this parted company company management called in the Army to excavate the hole. Hence the name Sapper. To make this a nicer climb go straight up the right hand face then travere in to the finish. Terry.
